I have more time now - Bishop JS Kenan
Theimmidiate past Bishop of Gongola Diocese Rt. Rev John Sarauta Kenan said he has got more time to prepare for sermon now that he has left the office of the Bishop. He was speaking to the Lutheran Today at the Shall Holma Diocese convention in Gombi where he was Guest speaker. Rt Rev JS Kenan said he was involved
in numerous activities that gave little or no time to have quality time to prepare for sermon. He said church Administration as good as it may be has a lot of distraction to the core pastoring work. The Bishop recalled times when he would just do on the spot preparation to make a sermon presentation. He said "as a Bishop you have endless list of activities that you can only complete by delegating some to others."
The Bishop advised other Bishops to try as much as possible to share responsiblity with others and delegate where necessary.
The Bishop spoke at the convention on the theme "Fear not Iam with you" Isaiah 43:5
