Rev Rejoice Hamtapwa Jibro ordained Baptist Clergy
Born into the Lutheran family of late baba Babajo Bilham and Mama Briskila Bilham of Demsa, Demsa Local government area Adamawa State, Rev. Rejoice was married to the Christians fellowship of the Baptist Convention of Nigeria. She graduated from the Theological College of Northern Nigeria (TCNN) in 1994 with a Bachelor of Divinity and Masters of Theology in 2007. Known for her dedication and hard work in the house of God Rev. Mrs. Rejoice served in various capacities in the Baptist church and at her parish in Bukuru, the Maranatha Baptist Church. She was made to serve as an interim pastor in 2013 to 2014. In order for her to receive the Baptist ordination she proceeded to the Baptist Theological Seminary Kaduna where she graduated with a Maters of Divinity.
Rev. Mrs Jibro who is a professional teacher has been serving at the Baptist College of Theology Lamingo, Jos as an adjunct lecturer. A committed Christian leader, Rev Jibro is passionate about the work of the Lord and maintaining her family. Her marriage to Deacon Daniel Jibro a dedicated servant of God and an ordained Deacon of the Maratha Baptist Church have been blessed with six children four male and two female and the family is extended by the blessing of four grandchildren.
Rev Mrs. Jibro received her ordination on the 16th of July 2016. Her husband, children, siblings and other family members both from Adamawa and Kaduna State attended the ordination. Her siblings who are members of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN) were very pleased with her commitment in the ministry. They expressed their joy and happiness for having clergy as a sister even though in another denomination.
